Hello my name is Sue but my family always call me Nanny Witch. I am just a ordinary housewife Mother and Grandmother of 11 gorgeous grandchildren who are my world. I love to be at home Pottering around in the garden baking cakes and doing the odd craft project. My other secret passion (not so secret to some!) is romance novels I dream of writing my own one day but that's just a daydream while weeding!
I live in a small market town not far from Southampton in the heart of the Test Valley it's a beautiful part of Southern England with my soul mate husband we have been married for 40 years next month.
So Now you know who I am and a bit about me, I hear you ask what's this blog about then. Its about my garden and its rejuvenation.

for the past three years I have been unwell and the garden had been somewhat neglected. the lawns have been cut and some odd bits planted but it looked so sad the we got the dreaded honey fungus.
Which has wiped out most of the plants in the garden.
I plan to take this opportunity to give the garden a makeover. this is not going to be a quick project it may take a few years but it will get there. Blogging its evolution along the way. I might just throw in a few other and bobs like the odd cake recipe or craft project and even talk about what I am reading.
These were taken last year before the Honey fungus set in I will show you the devastation next time. and talk about the plan so far!
Long border taken from the patio looking across the garden.
